Got up early this morning (5am) as I had to attend 2 acupuncture sessions, one before and one after embryo transfer. The first acupuncture session was at 6.30am which went ok, although I still retain the right to complain about the ones that go in the ears. Ouch.
Back at the clinic the embryo transfer was really easy. I was shown into the room where I have to remove knickers and sit on a gyn chair - so dignified!
Mr Riddle came in and we chatted for a few minutes, I asked him about me ovulating early and he said that this was rare, he thinks I might not have reacted well to the buserelin as this was supposed to halt ovulation.
Anyway, we were shown the embryo on a tv screen, which we took a picture of (I will put it online later) after that the embryo was sucked up into a long tube like syringe and passed to Mr Riddle who pushed it up inside my womb and let it go!! All done.
I plan to spend the next 3-4 days in bed, to relax and take it easy. I will post more later, including getting the pic off my phone.
