The scan went well. They look the final measurements of my follicles today and confirmed that all is well:
Left side: 13 growing (up from 10)
2 are 12mm, 3 are 14mm, 2 are 15mm, 1 is 18mm, 1 is 19mm, 1 is 20mm, 1 is 21mm, 1 is 22mm and 1 is 23mm
Right side: 7 growing (no change)
1 is 9mm, 1 is 12mm, 2 are 16mm, 1 is 18mm, 2 are 21mm
I got another pic today so you can see from the last one (see Wednesday 28th June posting) that they have grown a lot! My womb lining has also grown a few mm and is now at 8.8mm thick.

I got a call from the clinic today at around 4pm to tell me that I have to take my last Buserelin injection at 6pm, followed by an injection of a new drug called Pregnyl at exactly 8pm.
Pregnyl is the final stage of drugs that tells my ovaries to release the eggs into my now heavily stimulated follicles. This will happen at a specific time over the next 36 hours so that at 8am on Wednesday morning they will be ready for collection by Dr Riddle.
I have been told that we must be at the clinic at 7am on Wednesday morning, as egg collection takes places at 8am sharp!
This is it. The final phase has begun. Everything I have done over the last 3-4 weeks now rests on this last bit. Collecting the eggs, fertilising them in the lab and seeing how many embryo's we get. Then they get put back on Friday and I'm officially pregnant!!! I will then have to wait 2 weeks to do a pregnancy test to make sure that the embryos 'stick' and I have a real pregnancy.
