It's Friday 14th today which means I'm now halfway through the two week wait! This week has taken forever to get through as I've not been really allowed to do much so I'm just sitting around, which for those of you who know me personally - you will know this is not like me, I get bored very easily! I also can't spend too much time on my laptop as it hurts my tummy if I sit up in one position for too long, and I can't put it on my lap as it get hot (yes I've also tried using a tray, not much good either!), so it's back to daytime tv. At least I've learnt a few things (like how to make yummy profiteroles).
Had a nice day today, I'm feeling better every day and less crampy which is good (I think), so I did a little light cleaning in the kitchen. I have been told not to do hoovering or ironing specifically, but I'm guessing wiping down a few sides and putting things away is ok (and loading a dishwasher!).
I then went out for lunch with my Aunt Fay and her two adorable children Felicity (Lissy) and Jamie. We met at Marks and Spencers in Camberley and had a nice lunch there before a little light shopping.
Just after I got home Chris's Mum and Dad arrived for the weekend, so we sat in the kitchen and chatted until Chris got home from work, I made a lovely shepherds pie for dinner and they have now gone to the pub! I opted to stay home tonight as I'm quite tired and I'm not keen on pubs when I can't drink and I've quit smoking! I don't want any temptations:)
So I'm going to watch Big Brother eviction night and enjoy a quiet night in while finishing the last of the profiteroles I made, I swear I won't be making any more for weeks - I can already feel the extra weight on my butt from all the cream and chocolate!
