A very good day

I had a wonderful day today as I got to spend some time with my Aunt Marilyn! I haven't seen her for 2 years so we had a lot to catch up on. We met in Basingstoke and had a lovely coffee and a browse around the shops before coming home to continue our catching up. I do hope it's not another two years before we meet again! I'm sure it won't be though:)

Not really any baby news to write about today, as things are just ticking along as they should be. I'm still waiting to hear from the Midwife/hospital on when my 12 week scan will be - which is annoying as I'm 12 weeks in just 4 days! Typical bloody NHS - slow as usual - I bet I end up waiting another 2 weeks, which is just frustrating as I really want to see how big my baby has grown in the last few weeks!

According to my sources (books/internet etc) the baby should be somewhere between 2 and 3 inches in length by now and pretty much fully formed - all the organs should be in place and all arms/legs and fingers and toes should be there too. All he/she has to do now is grow big and strong!
