Another hurdle jumped, another week has passed and what a week.
In terms of BB news, everything is going well so far. We got the heartbeat monitor out last night and had a really good poke around to find the sound of the heartbeat. As BB moves about quite a lot it can take 10 minutes to find it to hear (the doppler detects the heart but not always to hear it). Well after 5-10 mins we managed to find it and had a good listen. It's so good to hear this noise. We will figure out how to hook the doppler up to the pc soon so we can record it and I will put it on here!
In other news, we had some very sad news come to us from our dear friends Pat and Walt over in America. Sadly Walt's father passed away this week. I didn't know him well but we have met him a few times over Thanksgiving and over vacations. He was a lovely man. May Gilbert Moore rest in peace.
My heart is with Walt and Pat this week as their week has been full of ups and downs. They have also seen the birth of a beautiful grandaughter Delainey and get to see their other grandaughter Caylie in the nutcracker suite!
I also heard from a fertilityfriends friend who was 1 day behind me in her pregnancy. She has had similar problems to me in that she has suffered a lot of bleeding in her pregnancy so far, so we bonded over this and helped each other get through it. She originally had twins but lost one of the babies at 9 weeks which is what seemed to cause al ot of her bleeding. Sadly she lost the other baby this week too. It's such a devastating thing to have to go through and my sympathy goes out to her and her husband. I hope she can find the strength to get through this and carry on to have another child someday soon.
