Do you believe in psychics?

I didn't write in last night as we were in a business meeting until gone 10pm and I was tired when we were done so we just went to bed!!

Still no sign of my period - argh. I hate the waiting!

Today I've asked you if you believe in psychics? I'm asking this as it's a question I've asked myself many times during my lifetime as my biological father passed away when I was 1 year old and my mother is clairvoyant.

She has spoken to me a couple of times over the years about messages that my father has passed over to me and to be honest I've always taken it with a pinch of salt. My reason for this is that my mum knows me so well that it's hard to know if she is just telling me what she thinks I want to hear, or she is telling me what she gets. I do however keep an open mind on these things, it's not that I do or don't believe, but I'd like to believe if someone will just prove it to me!

Well lately I may have had my proof, so I'm going to log it in here and share it with you, so that if it does come true then others may also see that there is such a thing as the spirit world and that there are people on this earth that have the amazing ability to communicate with them.

It all started on the last treatment cycle. My mum is in Hawaii right now and just before we went for egg collection I had a panic moment and didn't know if we should put one or two embryos back. So I messaged her on MSN and asked her to go away and talk to my father in spirit and ask for his advice, as it is believed that spirits can guide you.

Anyway - this is what was said:

I see your Dad, and he has two children with him, a dark haired girl and a fair haired boy. He says ‘ Tell her to go for two’. He says if you rest enough during the last 3 months, everything will be fine. A little early maybe, but only by a couple of weeks. You will possibly have a C section, but it is not sure yet.

He says: By resting, I mean not too much computer work in the last stages, as cramping the babies makes it uncomfortable for them. Please have lots of lying down flat, but live a normal life, just a bit slower.

Take away your fear, especially at the time of birth, they will be healthy and strong. A girl like me and a boy like Chris and your mother combined.
If all goes well as it should, there will be two, so don’t spend the whole nine months worrying, especially Chris.

Trust that you will get what you need. You may have problems with your ankle swelling, so rest with your feet up. Be assured, there will be NO brain damage, NO defects, in fact, Star Born children. The girl will be first, the boy next. All babies in the two family blood lines are healthy.

Well as you know it IVF didn't work out first time, so me being me, and also being skeptical again, I said to my mum, what a load of rubbish! Anyway, she is still in Hawii and recently went to see a lady called Camille from New York who did a clairvoyant reading for her.

During this reading she told my mum a few things about me. Now bear in mind this woman has no idea who I am, or that I'm having IVF treatment, so the information surprised me a little (and I have to trust that my mum is telling me the truth 100%) This is what was said:


The babies weren't ready to come the last time, and that you would get two for the price of one! She asked if you were ready this time mentally and emotionally.....the thoughts she came up with were, Can I carry this baby/babies? The answer was YES She said you must not believe ANYWHERE in your consciousness (sub conscious or
otherwise) that you won't be a good mother, because you will......

She said that your husband was worrying sub consciously about being a good daddy, and having to share your love with the children, so ask him to be assured that there will be one for each of you and that wont be a problem. Children make the love between you grow stronger.......

She said the children know that you have been concerned that they will never come, and they want you NOT to worry, as they are coming.
She gave May/June as a date for their arrival, (so when you count backwards, that brings you to this next round of IVF). She also said you were very spiritual and psychic, and that you just dont know it yet.

Well again me being me was left feeling that I didn't know what to believe. I do like to get my proof as I want to believe but just find it hard! So I decided that I would seek out a clairvoyant of my own, someone I could visit who doesn't know me, my history, my background or why I'm even there, and see if I get a similar reading.

I went to see a local couple, he had been doing this for over 20 years and has done work for tv shows in the past, so he looked quite good. I was there for over an hour and a half and a lot was said in this time, some of it made sense, some of it didn't but then thats alwasy true of a psychic as they could be referring to the future and it hasn't happened yet! In the I want to believe stakes, I have to say that he talked at one point to my ex husband and he was 100% spot on correct about everything so I do have to believe that this man really does have the ability to communicate with the spirit world. This is what was said in relation to me having children (and he was talking to my father):


What I’m getting is you will get your hearts desire, and the two is 2 children isn’t it – which you want. I’ve got to say where he said girl, or where I’ve got girl, I don’t know whether its going to be 2 girls, but as I say its going to be a very strong girl there right?

He’s smiling now, why is he smiling? And holding up a third finger? You might want to, you might have 3, ok!!

WOMAN: Does that mean there are twins in the family or what?

MAN: I don’t know

WOMAN: 1 pregnancy but 2 babies?

MAN: yeah might be 2 pregnancies and 3 babies, um right. Things will go smooth, alright, that is what he is saying in the pregnancies. I do feel as I say, there is a definite girl and I feel a very strong. Stronger minded and stronger willed than you are even, so god help ya!!

You have had difficulties in the past with this? I’ve gotta say you didn’t think you would ever have children is what he is saying, but you will have children, You are pregnant now (I said no here) aren’t you? Well it’s isn’t far off then! It isn’t far off. I thought it was, I thought it was that close that you are actually pregnant now

WOMAN: well that’s what I had written down that there is a new baby

MAN: I’ve gotta say that there is a boy about, I’ve gotta say. Let me say it then…. Girl first boy second, alright. That’s why I was getting the girl so strongly, the girl is going to be the first one but she is going to be very very strong. She is going to be an old soul, I’ve gotta say that, she will be an old soul and as she grows up she will come out with things where you will think she is a damn site older than she is!! But you are going to have to watch because of your character and the way that her character will be there could be clashes there. But you will get the support that you need, not just from spirit but on the earth plane as well, ok cos I’m seeing lots of flowers lots of happiness around and about.

I know its near because as I say I know you will have a child next year.

What dad is saying is stop worrying, things will be fine. But you will understand what he is saying, you will have to look after yourself ok, you will have to take care of yourself, you will have to slow down a little bit ok. (he laughs) alright I’ll tell her! For once in your life you will have to do as you are told! Do you understand what he is saying there? (I said yes while laughing). Cos you don’t like doing as you are told do you? (I said no!).

But what he is saying that because it is something that you want so dearly you will have to listen and do as you are told. Cos I do feel, its as though, I’m seeing you sat down with your feet up, I know through pregnancy sometimes women suffer with their feet and legs and that sort of thing, you’ve got to sit with your feet up and you’ve got to spend time, quietly as well. Not going here there and everywhere.


So - what do you think now? Do you believe???

I have to admit to thinking there is truth in this - I've been told 3 times now that there are babies waiting and possibly twins - at least 2 children anyway, and that it will work on this next cycle.

So - let's see shall we. I've made a note of it all up front and in a public place so if I do have a boy and a girl and it is twins - there is some proof right here that the spirit world does exist and that they can help you. Otherwise it's all a load of bollocks and there are some people out there (including my mum) who have weird head fuck moments that makes them believe that they are talking to dead people.

Only time will tell....
