Happy Halloween!

I didn't post yesterday as I couldn't get onto the blogger website! I guess they were having problems!

It's halloween today - not really doing anything to celebrate it as really it's for the kids - and as ours is still inside me and only an inch long - not much we can do this year!

Our fetal heart monitor arrived this morning! we had a very quick go on it before Chris went to work and I'm pretty sure we found the babys heartbeat. My heartbeat was registering at 60-80 and the doppler (which allows you to hear as well as giving you a digital reading) was also giving us a second reading which was 125-140 which is just right for a growing fetus!

This has really put my mind at rest - all this waiting in between scans is very nerve wracking as you can't feel, or see what is going on in there, so knowing that the heartbeat is still strong helps me to know that all is well.

I expect we will play with it again tonight as we only spent 2 minutes with it this morning! I can't wait!
