Bleeding again - Quite the scare yesterday.

I didn't post anything yesterday as we were busy panicing over the fact that I had a major scare. About 3pm yesterday afternoon I started to bleed. This time it was heavy, red and sorry if too much info but some clots too.

I of course called Chris and he came home right away, but we weren't able to get in for a scan until this morning. I spent most of the evening trying to remain calm, and went to bed early (was asleep by 9.30pm!) so that we could be up early today and get this sorted.

Well the good news is that BB is fine, and was bouncing around and very active!

The hospital weren't able to tell me why I am bleeding, but said that everything looks ok in there. The placenta could be lower than they thought but it should rise up over the coming weeks. I was also given an injection of Anti-D as my blood group is Rhesus Negative, so this will protect the baby from my body rejecting anything should the baby be Rh positive.

We also got a scan picture! OMG it's a REAL baby in there! We can hardly believe what we saw. After going through so much in the past to get to this stage and see a real little person in there was truely amazing.

We have our 12 week scan next week, so we can't wait to see this again.
