It's 6am and we have both been awake since 2. Tired doesn't come into it, and the nerves are keeping my tummy busy! But we will be OK. We are strong and have coped with far worse than this.
I'll be under a general anaesthetic by 8.30am and should be home this afternoon, so I will get Chris to post an update later as to how we got on.
I'm also really hungry! Not allowed to eat since midnight last night and being awake half the night hasn't helped with that! so I'm looking forward to the manky sandwich they give you after the op!
