Another milestone with just over 6 weeks to go until the planned c-section date!
They say that the babies should now weigh about 3.7lb and are around 42.4cm long from head to toe. We have a scan on Thursday at the hospital so we will see how their weights are developing then!
Their lungs won't be fully developed until just before birth, but they are constantly inhaling amniotic fluid to exercise their lungs and practise breathing. (As we had the steroid jab I'm hoping their lungs are better developed now!)
Some babies have a head of hair already, others have only a few wisps. Thick hair at birth doesn't necessarily mean thick hair later on, but children with fine hair in childhood usually grow up to have fine hair too. We are just wondering what colour our babies hair will be - assuming they have any at all!
