Day out in London

I went to London today to meet a friend for lunch, which was very nice! I left early with Chris so we could park the car in the train station car park, and was appalled at the difference in rates! Usually when I travel to London I go 'off peak' which is after 10am. Car park charges go from £3.90 to £1.20 off peak! and train tickets go from £26.70 to £10.50 off peak! so it was an expensive train journey today - next time I'll go in later. It's such a RIP OFF! All so they can charge more than double to the commuters to have to go to work. Bastards.

Anyway, lunch was great. I went to
Greens Restaurant in Duke Street, St James, and I had the Smoked Haddock - which was very nice. Did a little shopping on Oxford Street, didn't really buy anything but had fun browsing, then came home with Chris.

I'm now very tired and at 9.20pm am off to bed! I'm off to the hospital tomorrow for a scan at 10.20am - and acupuncture just before that, so I'll report back and let you know how it all goes!
